Working with Paralympians and artists

Guidance on how to find and work with guests on your Driving Inspiration project

These online resources enable schools to run their own Driving Inspiration projects without having to organise a visit from a Paralympian or disabled artist.  However, Driving Inspiration projects work extremely well when a school is able to bring in an artist and/or Paralympian to work with pupils.

Take advantage of our special offer for schools and book a free online workshop with one of our ‘Driving Inspiration’ artists to get your project off to a great start!  For more details of how to book your workshop, please email

We are in the process of compiling a database of Paralympians and artists who are interested in working with school projects.  You can see some details of artists and athletes who are available for schools visits here.

We also have some guidance sheets about working with guests that you may find helpful:

Project Proposal plan

Briefing sheet

Interview questions

Whilst we are building this list you may wish to contact the Driving Inspiration Project Manager if you would like more information on how to run a project in your school with Paralympians and/or artists.  You can get advice on how to source guests and what the likely costs will be.
